Real Life Barbie Dolls

Recently hor, I read a lot of articles on real life Barbie models. You know, the Barbie dolls that we used to play... now we have real life life-sized models!

Growing up, I was pretty much a girly but not too girly kind of girl. Like, I liked Barbie not until like some people clothes also Barbie (but i have a Barbie jeans), water bottle Barbie, bag also Barbie, everything Barbie. I only wanted a Barbie doll. Flunyway, my mom got it for me for my dunno what birthday. Loveliest thing ever (then I dunno put at where already, probably gave to my younger cousins after that). The thing is, most people grew out of it when they become older. Like, I wouldn't beg my mom to buy a Barbie now. I know there're some people who are interested in collecting dolls but mostly it's because they only collect it as interest and stuffs... but looks like interest is taking a whole new level nowadays.

This, ladies and gentleman,is Valeria Lukyanova. She's from Ukraine, this year 21 years old. She's a real life Barbie model... so this is how Barbie has impacted our lives. T.T Her entire body is not in the right proportions.. boobs too big, waist too small, legs too long and small too.

Look, her waist is so small, I'm afraid her entire body will just break into half anytime! It's just so scary to look at. I mean, I understand beauty lies in the eyes of beholder and things like that. She might find it naise and cute.. but really, is this what our society has turned into? She obviously went under the knives with her entire body. Some people even said that she's like operation went wrong. I honestly think our bodies are created for a reason. Thin people just do not have big boobs because you know the weight we have to support?!
Aih.. this is her idea of beauty and it's not like I can oppose to that. I have to respect the opinions and views of others even though I might not agree to it. Maybe she finds it ok and is happy being like that. This is Valeria's facebook.

And she's not the only Barbie-likedgirl. There also this:

She's Kotakoti and also dresses up in you know, Barbie-liked stuffs and a Japanese cuteness overload. She's just 16 and comes from Florida. Her pictures gone viral in the net and also she has Youtube account where she gives tutorials and stuffs. How these girls can makeup like that, I don't know. How many freaking hours do they need to get everything done from top to bottom?! And also, when they remove their makeup, how long is it gonna take? I'm not really into makeup myself, I could never understand what they feel. From sources, this girl doesn't really have a good personality eh.. she even has an anti-katokoti page. Not gonna post that here, you search for yourself.

They said this is how she looks like. T.T The picture on the left is taken from a video, the one on the right is a picture. I watched the video, she doesn't really look that plump as the picture on the left lah.. the haters probably took one ugliest picture of her original self and then compare it with one of the nicest picture on the right (learnt this from 9gag). Typical comparison.

From her anti-katokoti (man.. it's hard to pronouns her name correctly, mouthful!) page. I don't quite believe when she says she's not wearing fake lashes though ...

Girls like this makes other girls feel inferior about themselves. While I don't oppose to the fact that girls like Katokoti loves to look like that, I'm concern the kind of culture they're will be setting. It's like, they're trying to say that girls have to look like that to be nice. Probably some might think that I'm overreacting. But look at how Barbie has already starting to affect other girls. Plastic surgeries make you feel good and prettier, that I agree. But if your body starts to have wrong proportion, I think it's just gonna harm your health, especially your bones in the future. What more, women are gonna have babies. T.T My views might be a little traditional and even narrow-minded. If you go under the knives for some smaller stuffs like, maybe just your nose (I duno how if it's gonna harm your breathing or not), I'm pretty fine with it. I just can never understand why someone wants to enlarge their boobs lor. I don't think guys actually want boobs like that, and when your body is not in right proportions, it.. honestly, doesn't look very naise.

Another girl with similar interest is Venus Angelic.

This is her blog. I don't want to start elaborating on her already, she's another girl whose really into these kind of stuffs.

Women whom I actually actually are women like this:

... At least they look real. They're just examples of women whom I would give my respect to. Some of them might be using their beauty as their selling point too, same like Katokoti and Venus Angelic. They all have the most amazing body in the world too, which might also be really bad for girls out there who want to look like them. But I think I respect them for doing it the healthier way, the more confident way. Like, models take a lot of efforts to get to what they are today. They have really strict diets too, exercise a lot and things like that. They don't just grow beautful in poof.. a day or what. I respect Venus Angelic and Katokoti for making the efforts to fit in to their idea of beauty though. Having thick makeup takes a long time and I guess  a lot of dedication too. I just don't think that everyone should get blinded or obsessed with being beautiful. A wise man once told me that in life, we can never go extreme. Whatever it is that we're doing, we should just do it moderately (ah... such wise words).
