Friends Who Are Family

I promise that I will:

  1. Stop being such a kiasu bitch and get sad over test marks when I'm lower than the others.
  2. Stop being so stressed up over little things.
  3. Be happier.
  4. Not be afraid of failures.
  5. Stop trying to be suicidal and get emo for the next 2 hours just because I can't solve an econs question, or don't understand a legal terms or can't remember a bloody Act.
  6. Photocopy Sherilynn's Add. Math notes A.S.A.P.
  7. Study more.
  8. Practise more drawing.
My God, everytime, just when I thought I could get some rest, either assignment of a test pops out of nowhere! I will kill whoever who says that INTI is a relaxing place. Bloodyful, in college, no matter how good or how bad, there'll never be free time. None of us will be free for more than a week.

Hmm.. on the other hand, I can't wait to let my Hongkie my friend our KLCC view at night... but I guess I'm more excited about it rather than her.

And I just realise something recently. When you're staying outside, you tend to have faster bonds with your friends. Because you friends are you family when you don't have a family. I mean, in college, my friends know a have pretty big appetite when it comes to food when I knew them for only like less than a year. Because this is a trait that only my family knows... not to say I'm trying to keep is a secret from my friends lah...but most friends from Melaka don't know that I can eat quite a lot. And I'm surprised that my college friends know. I guess it's all because I see them as much as I see my family so you know, somehow, weaknesses and strengths, they know em' all. And it's vice-versa.

Isn't this absolutely cute? I think that's why I feel so near to my college friends even though they're new friends. It takes a while for me accept friends as friends. I mean, I don't bond with a person that fast and when I come college and suddenly, friends whom I've met for only a few months, I feel like I know them for years.

I therefore conclude that when you live away, your friends are your family.
