Reminiscing School Days

Sometimes, I hate myself for missing the past and my unwillingness to move on to the future:

1.  Because I can't help but miss those days when I wore my uniform with that maroon tie. 
2. And I can go to the library anytime I wanted and did whatever I wanted there. 
3. Which I would usually ask the juniors to shelve the books while I sampat with Hui Ming in the counter. 
4. And then complained a little about why the library looked so .... whatever that could be complained.
5. Went back to class and did my work. 
6. And chatted with Qiu Lin, Wen Yu, Chiew Fern, Serene, Lynndy. Non-stop.
7. Waited for the next teacher to come in. 
8. Pn. Foo's PhD which is "Perasaan Hasad Dengki". 
9. Dragged our feet to the science labs. 
10. And if we were late, we could see Pn. Poh coming to our class literally screaming at us. 
11. Secretly praying that Pn. Poh wouldn't call our names out to answer her questions. 
12. Secretly praying to all the Gods of the world that she wouldn't ask us to come out and demonstrate experiments. 
13. And when she asked us questions and we couldn't answer, our partners next to us would immediately come to our rescue and whispered correct answers to us. 
14. Gossiped about Mr. Gay at the beginning of the year. 
15. Rejoicing when we knew that we could get back our beloved Biology teacher. 
16. Have woman-to-ladies talk about reproduction with Pn. Aidah. 
17. The last two weeks before gymnastraeda, the field would be full of students from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
18. All of us will beg our teachers to release us to the field. 
19. Which, when in Form 5, they wouldn't quite let us go. 
20. Go to 5 Science 1 and talked with our friends there (or 5 Science 3).
21. Released our ties during Watikah. 
22. And started breaking all the rules. 
23. Went to canteen, bought lots of junk food and started partying in class. 
24. But went home and studied like hell. 
25. Skipped school for so many days.
26. Went to the library to study. 
27. Complaining about students nowadays having to go to tuition but secretly enjoying each and everyone of them. 
28. Went to Skor A and then chatted with Sherilynn non-stop. 
29. Until kena scold. 
30. Planning group study with Jia Xin and Hui Ping. 
31. Planning where to go after SPM. 
32. Best thing of all? 
33. THERE WERE NO GUYS IN OUR CLASSES!

And I quote Pn. Foo, "Trust me, when you leave school, this is the place that you will miss the most, though you can't wait to leave now."
