If Love is Powerful, then Try Throwing all you money into the sea

Seriously, I really couldn't understand why there are boyfriends or girlfriends out there who will go out with other boy/girl just to make their partner jealous. I mean, come one! I've never had a boyfriend or really been in love up to the extend where I'm willing to sacrifice for everything. I have a couple of friends whose partners (or maybe they themselves) are going out (it's understood what kind of "going out" they are "going out") with some other random people just so they could make their partners jealous.

Wahlau... you think you're in Taiwanese drama meh??!!! Wake up la...

I might not have the privilege to criticise these people but I just feel like complaining.   Flunyway, you think it's fun to see your girlfriend hurt because of you? I personally think the reason why some people are doing this is because looking at their partners thinking of them make them feel important and it somehow boost their ego. Oh, you know.. we're talking about being ego. And it makes them feel like OMG-you're-thinking-of-me-because-you-can't-live-without-me.

And they think when their partners are jealous, their partners will naturally stay by them because they "love" each other so much. Forgive me, but this isn't love. This is merely a case of not having enough confidence when together. And they just don't trust each other. If there's no trust, why care about being together? Don't you think you should work on building up your own character, your attitude and find your real self before being in love?

And once you're in love, you think you're in fairyland? You're think you're going to live happily ever after?
The minute you choose being with someone, it should be the minute you start preparing that any minute, you'll hate him/her (I'll just stick to her). Any minute, you'll hurt her. Any minute, she'll hurt you. Any minute, your relationship will be all over.

And for Buddha's sake, if you're in secondary school, you'll get to college. If you're in college, you'll go to work. The world has billions and trillions of people and the person you're dating, is a history when you found a new one.

You think love is powerful?
Of course love is powerful when you have money.
Of course love is powerful when your girlfriend isn't pregnant.
Of course love is powerful when you don't have to worried how much a bottle of baby milk powder costs.

Do you think love is still powerful when you're 16 and you have a pregnant girlfriend (I have a lot of topics on pregnant girlfriends)? Do you think love is still powerful when your boyfriend doesn't have money to buy birthday presents for you or when he's working 24/7 because he's dirt poor? And then you complain he's not spending time with you?

All these problems make me feel thankful that I'm still single. And if being in love is so troublesome, my Buddha, I'd rather to enjoy my life by myself, rather than thinking of what to give my boyfriend on Valentine's Day.

And singles out there, be thankful you're single. There's so many more fishes in the sea (as quoted by many many people) and you still have a lot of baits so enjoy life, people.

Happy Valentine's Day, people.
If you're taken, cherish that person NOW, compromise and let all fights end.
If you've just broken up, well, I cannot say anything. Just, you know, be strong. (what else?)
If you're single, you've just read my whole blog post. Aren't you happy you're single?  XD
