Woohoo, Lavinia!!

I have a friend.
.
.
.
I have many friends.
And I have this particular friend, who is outstandingly amazing.
She sang Fullmetal Alchemist Brothers with Adila (an eccentric, like me, who sat behind me back in Form 3) although she had never heard of the song before. Sometimes, she might seem like a laid back person who doesn't really care much about her studies. But she has got amazing skills in English, procrastinating, bringing Tamagochi to school (cos' she had sold it to me), talking craps, giving constructive criticisms in drawing, thinking about life philosophies (??!!!) and...

becoming a candidate in the One Young World delegates.

VOTE HER HERE!

You should vote for her because she has the coolest article among all Malaysians!
And she's talented! So vote her, if you haven't!

And ask your friends to vote her also!
And also, my fellow friends who blog, post this up to promote Lavinia. Because she should totally be chosen!

Surprise!!

I wonder... since when did I start falling in love with making stories.
Stories are amazing. They make dreams. They inspire. They give drama. They can be addictive. They play such a big part in the community.

Sometimes, I think, I should be a movie director. Hmm... sounds pretty classy.

But I still prefer drawing. Who knows.. maybe one day I'll change my mind. Maybe one day, I don't like drawing anymore. Instead, I choose to become a ... nun.

Ohohohohohoho... XD

Hana Yori Dango, the classic.

I should be drawing now. But it doesn't matter. I have the whole day to practise today.
I was in youtube checking out ...

Meteor Garden.
Not the Korean Boys Over Flowers, the Taiwanese one.
And you know, Meteor Garden/Boys Over Flowers/Hana Yori Dango.. anything, They're all the same anyway, has power.
You can hate the cliche plot, the rich-boy-likes-poor-girl thing but admit it, there's a strong power in the story.

All thanks to Yoko Kamio. You know, I've seen so many people who like the live action dramas by the Korean and Taiwanese, but I think I still like the original manga. I like the original Tsukushi Makino, original Domyoji Tsukasa, Hanazawa Rui and oh, the other two. And others.

Many people don't like the manga nowadays. Most probably because of the drawings. The 20th century drawing. Without much computer.

But the plot is the amazing. I like the many drama in the manga and at the same times, readers are not bored with it. And the chemistry between the characters. Cliche but interesting. I suppose sometimes, when making stories, there's no need for us to be different. There's no need for us to have the mindset of "I wanna be different. I don't want a cliche plot. I want an original story". Personally, I think, when making stories, we should be ourselves. Just make a story that we want. There's no need to be special, to be different, to be distinct. Be ourselves is what makes a great story. And I guess that what Yoko Kamio did. No wonder she makes such nice manga.

XD

The second last page of the last chapter!

The Japanese version.

No need to say anything. The one that everyone loves to hate.

Oh, shut up! I know they're hawt...

I went to YouTube and they said there'll be a Philippines one coming soon. Pwetty hawt guys also, you know.

In support of Anti-Tips.

Now, I finally understand what it feels like when they said life is unfair.
Because, I see my very own friends, quite a number of good friends of mine, having answers for the leaked questions of Trials. I am pretty angry, actually. Because here I am, studying like a mad girl like there's no tomorrow, and there they are, getting tips here and there.

Like, wtf man! (I know, you've never seen this sentence in my blog before. Never. I've been quite a polite person all this while... hmm... not bad for me...)

They even memorized the answers! I heard that in Add. Math paper, they memorized up the workings. And I'm like, my God! They thought they're so damn smart because they finally found a shortcut to get an A1 without studying but really, if you're gonna spend some f***ing (I know, you've never seen this before too. I put stars on it so that.. well, it's censored after all. Anyway, stars make thing beautiful, don't you think?) hours memorizing some answer sheets, you must as well just freaking use them for revision! I mean, think! Use you oh-so-smart brain and think! These answers will not come out in Trials, darling. You gotta do revision. Revisions last longer. Revisions are so much better in the long run.

But oh, they don't think in the long run, do they? All they think is about right now. All they want is to get an A. I am shocked at the fact that how they can still be satisfied with their "A" when they get back their papers. Won't they ever feel guilty?

But anyway, pigs fly if they feel guilty. And pigs don't fly.
Now, when I heard that my certain friends said that someone has 90+ for certain subject, the first thing which pops out of my head is, "What? She get tips is it? Sure got tips one lah.."
See, that's how people look at you! So, what's so great about an "A"? It's just an alphabet!

I am proud to say that I have integrity. I would rather to fail, get scolded my mom and my Chemistry teacher than to cheat in exams. I would rather to get last in class rather than using the lame excuse of, " The girls in my class are smart. It's a big pressure if I don't do well. That's why I need tips".Don't assume that just because your classmates are smart, then you not doing the wrong thing. Don't assume that just because you think you have no choice, you are allowed to do something wrong and assume that you're not wrong because you have an excuse.

Wrong is wrong. Because would you dare to say that if there's a murderer who accidentally murdered someone is right? Although he uses the excuse of "accidentally", it doesn't mean that he can be off without any punishment.

If you get tips and think you're not getting any punishment, think again. It's not a matter of whether you're getting the consequences or not, it's just the matter of WHEN you're gonna get it.
I can bet, I am (and those who don't get tips) going to be so much more successful in the future than these bunch of losers. If I lose, at least, I lose with pride. And that's what makes a winner.

Chronicles of... Handphones.

Darn.. I'm enjoying my guilty pleasure of not drawing.
I feel like I am getting lazier and lazier. And it's not very good.

It's bad. Really really bad.
X(
I should stop being so lazy.

Anyway, that's not what I want to say. I've been fascinated (pun intended) by all the scientific terms I've learnt for these two years being a Science class student (who doesn't really enjoy much science).
But well, few weeks ago, when I was revising my Art, I found out that we also have terms in art. I call them artistic terms.

That's not the main point. Main point is, today, I realised that we also have terms for handphones. If in science we have stem cells, mutations, diffusion, spongy mesophyll cells, photosynthesis, Klinefelter's Syndrome... in art we have perspectives, chiaroscuro, freelance(is this artistic term anyway??!! Nevermind, it makes me look mature.. it makes me look like I am not an airhead who knows nothing) ...

and in handphones, we have.. SIM card, memory card, blue tooth, infrared... etc.

And I call them ... handphonic terms. Yes, handphonic terms. And stop laughing, if you are. (I know you are laughing, Sherilynn. So stop!)

Sherilynn, are you still laughing? (or whoever who are still laughing)

Anyway, I can imagine if we have handphone lessons in schools. Imagine if we have textbook for handphones. It will be like this:

KURIKULUM BERSEPADU SEKOLAH MENENGAH

TELEFON BIMBIT
BUKU TEKS TINGKATAN LIMA

Ditulis oleh: Ong Yeok Ho (tapi tak tahu guna hp.)
Ong Yeok Ho 2 (sebab tak ada benda nak buat)

Buahahahahahha...
And in our handphone lessons, we are supposed to remember all the handphonic terms. Which is really retarded if you think about it.
And we are supposed to remember handphone companies like Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericson, Samsung etc. And we have to remember Digi, Celcom, Maxis, Hotlink etc. And worse, we have to study the differences of these companies.. we have to differentiate which company has cheap SMS like.. 1 sen/sms or.. 50 sen/sms..

And then we have to learn about.. "Handphones: Then and Now". Imagine we have to memorize up the founders of handphone.. and the history of handphones. We have have to learn up types of handphones like, coloured-screen handphone, touch-screen handphone... why is iPhone so darn famous..difference between Samsung Jet and iPhone.. etc.

Scary, I tell you. Really really scary.
I bet if this actually happens, students will NOT like handphones.
