Nails Tutorials so Easy You Can Bleed (1) : How To Do French Tips

Yay, this is like my official 1st nail tutorial and it's so bloody easy you can bleed!
Flunyway (I know there'll be more readers since it's a nail tutorial so for those who are new, "flunyway" is just a stupid word I made up), I'm here to teach you guys on how to make french tips today! It's so easy that you do not need any great skills! : D

So first, you need to get this:
Reinforcement rings that are used to reinforced our papers! You can get it at any bookstores near you and if they don't have, you can easily get one from Popular bookstore. They're selling it for 2 for RM5.00. Can do your nails and reinforce your papers too! : D

And also nail polishes (duh!). In this tutorial, I'm using this new collection by Elianto (RM5.50) and I love it! For those who can't paint their nails evenly with opaque colours, this is the collection you should get (and it's cheap too)! The colours are so opaque and it's so easy to apply and it dries fast compared to the old Elianto colours.

Another colour is from a fake OPI that my friend bought. Because I've given back all the real OPIs to my sister, so now there won't be anymore real ones, haha! This fake one works just fine too and in fact, it's a kind of magnetic nail polish (will show y'all next time). RM25 for one.

Flunyway, so first you just take one reinforcement ring first.

Pull it out and when it's sticky, it looks like this.

And then you stick it to your hand a couple of times, about 2 to 3 times. Because it's very sticky, if you stick it  to your nails immediately, it will  stick your nail polish to it too and ruins your nails when you remove it later.

After that, the ring looks like this, cos it's not so sticky anymore (and looks pretty disgusting with all the dead cells from your skin but trust me, it works!).

And then on your nails, add 2 coats for the base colour you desire. Wait until COMPLETELY DRY. Its has to be COMPLETE DRY before you can go on for the next step. Like, not just the surface but the whole thing or else it will be ruined later. Sometimes, it takes a couple of hours for it to be dried if you have more coats on it. Sometimes, one whole day if.. your nail polish isn't very good. T.T

Okay, when it's dried already, you stick this ring to your finger like the above picture. And the thing is that, because it's not so sticky now already, you have to like, press a little bit so that it sticks to your nail. BUT, remember to press only on the side like the arrows showed you because if you press the whole thing, your nail polish might get stuck and when you remove the ring, it will ruin your finger (that's why nails has to be completely dried). So just press lightly at the side.

After that, you just have to paint another colour you desire on top of it. It doesn't matter if you painted on that ring sticker because you're gonna remove it anyway.

About 30 seconds after that, you remove the ring sticker and it looks like this. Because my nails is not fully dried yet (because I painted it just for the sake of this tutorial, removed it after that), so you can see the side is a little ruined. That's cos' the nails polish got stuck to the ring sticker (that's why you can't have a sticker which is too sticky). And also, you can see that the base colour has lost its shine (because of the sticker too). But it's okay cos' you can use a top coat to re-shine (such word doesn't exist) it. So last step is to put on your top coat and ta-dahh, you're done! : D

I'm too lazy to take another photo after putting on top coat but well, you get what I mean, it shines! :)

I so good, even make tips for you (although I don't know if you understand my explanations or not) and decorate it with pink background! So girly, haha! : D

There, done with this tutorial. If you have any problems or don't understand any part, just comment at the comment section and I'll see what I can do. Also, before anyone accuses me to plagiarising, this idea of using reinforcement sticker is not completely by me. I thought of it before but never tried it until I saw a video in Youtube that uses the same way. And also, I'm pretty sure some people also uses the same way. I'm only doing nails for fun only so I only know some stuffs, not exactly an expert. If you have even deeper problems, I might not be able to solve for you. T.T

Thanks for even reading this!

I am loving this tutorial but I don't paint my nails. Will forward to my friends who are crazy with doing the same to their nails.

Hahaha cute tutorial! I love the new Elianto polishes too; nice and cheap and great colour! I'm not really fond of the colours you used for the tips, but that's just me. =X I would love to see the (fake) OPI as a mani though; the colour looks really nice! :)
