DIGIMON

I don't know if this sounds retarded but I'm so bloody in love with my childhood anime now. And it's......

DIGIMON!!

The opening is still as nice as 10 years ago, the Digimons are still as cute as 10 years ago. Except that now when I watched it, I'm like, "Wah lau...like that not logic leh...how can this Digimon talk and that Digimon can't. To start off with, how can Digimons even talk?? Even if they talk, shouldn't they have language barrier? They should speak their Digimon language right? Hmm.. if there's Doraemon right now, it would be good. He has this language food where we can eat and can understand any language..."

I sure remember that 10 years ago, when I was watching, I didn't have this sort of thoughts.

Bloody common sense.

Flunyway, the one thing I like about Digimon is their setting, where the Digital World is actually a world consist of networks. It's like, they're actually in the computer world. I remember 10 years ago, when I watched this, there was few episodes where they go to this place that has only 0 and 1.

It was 10 years later that I understand what it meant when Mr. Huan explained to us the world digital consisting of only numbers 0 and 1.
See, one thing I like about Japanese anime is that even if some of the anime are made for kids, they don't make ditzy storyline. Call me bias or whatever but somehow I feel that Western cartoons usually have those really simple and uninteresting storylines.

Like in Tom and Jerry, every bloody episode is ALL about Tom chasing Jerry.
Like what the hell man! How the hell can you make a 20-minute story of a cat chasing a mouse???!! Bloody hell, the whole 20 minutes is just about... A. CAT. CHASING. A. MOUSE!!

Sorry to all the Tom and Jerry fans out there. But to be honest, not every Western cartoon have ditzy storyline also lah...like, they still have Badman, Spiderman, Catwoman.. etc. although these are all focused more on adult readers.

I still remember this lovely picture! Awwwwwwww... back to those shwweeettt times...

haha i agree about Tom and Jerry. n almost all the episodes Jerry wins. is that bias against cats?? and when something like glass falls on Tom he doesn't bleed. he can still walk around even when a car ran over him. bad education for children =P
